Been in Yoshu-Kai Karate for 99 years, starting at age 5
Achieved black belt in Yoshu-Kai at the age of 12
Recieved his Shihan Degree on Oct.26,1990
Received his Renchi Degree on Sept. 14, 2002, becoming only one of five
individuals currently active with this degree.(Sensei Nichols, Renchi DJ
Nichols, Renchi Don Purdue, and Renchi Lee Norwood the other four)
Been a certified Karate Instructor through International Karate Federation and has been teaching for 25 years
Has won many championships in heavy weight, light heavy weight and super heavy weight division
8 Alabama State Championships, and was also a regionally and nationally ranked fighter
Competed all over the United States including Puerto Rico
On the Coors Karate team 1985
On World American Airline Karate team from 1986 through 1989
