Began training in Yoshu-Kai Karate in February 2003
Received 1st Degree Black Belt in February 2005

My son Jeremy started with International Karate at Meadow View Elementary under Shihan
Jay Fredrick in August of 2002. After a few months of watching the kids train and
spending a lot of time at the dojo, I joined in February of 2003. I started karate not
only to learn self-defense, but for the physical fitness of the sport. Since joining,
I have found so many more reasons to continue training and to continue improving myself.
I earned my 3rd Degree Black Belt in September 2008 and began instructing in June 2005.
I am very proud to be a member of the International Karate family and have the highest
respect for Sensei Nichols and all the members of this great federation.
