I love karate because that's where a lot of my friends are and I like to spar. Another reason, is that when you're out in the world you can defend yourself from people trying to hurt you or capture you.

I like karate because I help teach two new kids in my class - Daniel and Andrew. It makes me feel good and it makes me better at karate. I like my teacher Sensei Benjamin. He encourages me and he makes me feel good. I broke my board on my first try and I was super glad and proud. I cant wait to learn more.

It is my favorite sport I love doing all the cool kind of moves.
I love my weapons Kata, I like to do my knee chamber with my bow staff. The hardest move is when I flip it over.
I like my Shihan because makes us earn our weapons. He lets us practice with our weapons. I try my best to do my favorite sport. Our coach makes us work hard. Bo ty bo is hard. My favorite kata is Sho Hi, Zin ne go ti, and 27 movements. I loved breaking the board.
I like all the blocks, kicks and punchs--the hardest part is breaking things.
My best thing is fighting with our Shihan we are all trying to earn the privilege to be black belts

I love karate because I can break boards.
I like sparring and bow staff too.
I like doing my 27 movements. I do it alot.
I love getting new belts.
I'm glad that I am a purple belt and I want to get a new one soon. I want to get a black belt.
Karate is one of my favorite things that I like to do. I hope that new people will do karate soon.

It has instilled a level of self-confidence in our son that he hasn't had before. Doug Benjamin is a patient instructor who commands respect from all of the children and recognizes each student's gifts and challenges.
