I am 7 years old. I am a white bely. My instructor is Mrs. Mccord. I love karate because we get to fight and we get to have a pizza party if we do good at testings. We also get to play karate games. I love karate because I get to test for my next belt and because i get to meet sensei, and lots of other black belts. I get to learn stuff about karate like manners, it shows you how to be nice, and to respect older people.

I like karate because of sparring. I like sparring because we get to fight higher ranks for practice. I like the blocks because they can defend you. I like the punches and kicks. I like stretching. It helps your muscles. I like testing because if we pass, we can be one rank higher. I think the certificates are cool! I like the weapons because they're cool. I like to make lower ranks do push-ups. I like katas because if you do them correctly, you can pass testing and become a higher rank.

I Love Karate because its fun, and you get to fight, and I have a nice teacher.You get new belts and get to move up a level. Its also fun because you get to meets sensei. During class you get to learn awesome things about karate. I love to fight you get to use your skills to fight better, its also called sparing.I also like to fight because you cant get hit in the face becausen you wear a helmet and a mask. The last reason I love karate is because my teacher. Her name is Mrs. Mccord. Shes real sweet to us Mrs. Mccord teaches us lots of karate games.

I like karate because I like the katas 27 Movements, Zen Shi Ko Ti, Shi Ho Hai, and H Form Number 1 and other katas. I also like karate because I like the weapons the bo, sais, nunchucks. I also like karate because I like the belts and uniforms. I also like karate because of the games. My most favorite game was the pen game. Karate is better than baseball! That is why I love karate!

I am what most people call... a worry wart. I babysit my little brother a lot and I am always scared about someone busting in our house with a gun, knife, or a bat... I thought about learning karate to know how to protect myself. It is a life changing experience!

I love karate because it helps you defend yourself. It also is like no other sport, from swimming to gymnastics. It is not a sport where you automatically go up a rank. You have to work hard to pass the tests. You have weapons from chucks to kamas. You get to spar (fight) with your sparring gear. It's a good practice, because I get better every time. Karate is very important and special to me.

I love karate because I learn how to defend myself. I think it's fun. I like kinon kata with the chucks because the strikes make people fall down. We get to spar and learn new moves. Like doing all of the 13 moves of karate. I like doing the stretches before karate class to help our kicks and punches.

I love karate becouse mrs.camp is a grate techer. My favaret thing to do is the dise game and 27 movememts. i was proud when i got my puprle and blue belt. I can fight bad guys.

I love karate because it a fun sport and its very entertaining. I learn so much from Shihan Camp. She helps me when I dont understand how to do something. I am much more disiplened than I used to be before I started karate in fall of 2006. I've grown up more in the past three years than I have the rest of my life. It helps me stay active in sports and keeps me off the couch. I've learned the proper tools in order to protect myself from danger, but I will stay in it for much longer thats why I love karate.

I love IKF Karate because it is a fun class. My instructor, Mr. Hayes, is a fun instructor. He teaches us all sorts of different karate moves. He is also very funny and makes us laugh. I also like IKF Karate because I get to learn self-defense and practice it with friends. We can become better friends together and it is fun to spar together during class. I'm glad IKF Karate is a great way to exercise while having fun. This is why I love IKF Karate.

i love karate because it gives me a sence of releaf to know that i could defend myself if my life where in danger. plus i have a great instructor that teaches me not just karate but skills that i will need in my life. such as patience, determination, and self-control.
i love having shihan camp as an instructor, because she knows how far she can push she can push each student with out pushing them too far. plus she knows how to teach each person on each skill level. karate is a big part of my life and i love it! I like karate because it teaches me self defense. I also like to learn all of the katas, mugen teaches me how to get out of a choke hold and se san teaches me how to break a foot. I also like weapons, my favorite is the tonfa they teach me how to block an over head strike, they also teach me how to move my wrist in a certain direction. The nunchuck teaches me how to deflect a punch with a flip of the wrist. They also teach me how to trap a limb with a flip of the wrist. My favorite is sparring because I relieve all of my stress from school and learn how to defend myself in a real life situation. But, the main reason I am in karate is that it teaches me self control.
